I knew Jill for 60 years, first in Rhodesia and later in the UK, mainly since she moved to Oxford. Jill was a great friend, a lovely gentle person and she will be sorely missed. The last occasion we spent happy times was the summer before last when she took the train to London and we met up off Oxford Street with Carole who was visiting from Australia. We had a very happy memorable day.
